We took the boys out to the mall today. They were wearing their new sweaters, given to them by Nani and Pappy. Boy, did they ever look cute (and warm)! Fall is here! Boo! :(

Snuggles!

This is Jackson and Jameson's Godmother Vanessa having a snuggle! She may not have kids of her own yet, but she's getting a lot of experience with my wee ones! And they just love her to bits (although I gotta tell her that they'd love her even more if she changed their poopy diapers haha). Anyway, they are so lucky to have a Godmother like Vanessa! She's been there for me and for my boys since the minute they were born, so I couldn't be happier to officially welcome her to our family. That reminds me ... I better start planning for their baptism in December! That's just around the corner!!

The boys got to spend some quality time with their new aunt and uncle - Tantie Sam and Uncle Bogez. Although Jonny was reluctant to hold them as they were too "fragile and small", Wesley conned Jonny into feeding Jax and well, the rest is history! Jax took a liking to Jonny! He was flirting and laughing ... it was really cute! And Sam, she's definitely comfortable with these "widdle" babies! She's a kid at heart!

3 Month Cuties!

Just thought I'd post some photos of the boys, which were taken on their 3 month birthday. Once again, they were NOT happy about posing for these photos, but we did manage to get a few cute shots (and lots of drool) out of them!

Jackson was not happy. Jameson tried to comfort him! Too cute!

We're Three Months Old!

Damn, they're getting so big! How long will they fit in Daddy's guitar case ... we shall see! We vow to take photos of their growth for the first year in this case so dammit, they're gonna fit!

Kids ROCK!

We took the boys to the Burlington Ribfest, and boy, was it ever hot out! They were sweating buckets in their strollers but they looked real cute! This pic says it all! :)

Brangelina's Got Nothing On Us!

Since Jameson has been out of the hospital, we decided to take advantage of what was left of summer as much as possible. The boys have dined in the finest of restaurants and swum in the finest of pools! We've been getting out for daily walks and have enjoyed plenty of snuggle time as a big family! This is our version of the infamous Brangelina shot!

What? Me? Worry?

Jameson gained 2 pounds in 3 weeks! What a chubby little bunny!

Absolutely! Jameson was admitted into the hospital with meningitis! He was only 5 weeks old! We have no idea how he got meningitis and why! All we know is that he almost died if we didn't bring him in when we did. I won't go into the sordid details of his hospital stay. All I can tell you is that he needed to stay in the hospital on an IV drip for three weeks and has since made a full recovery!

Wesley and I took turns living at two hospitals, while he was being cared for by an amazing team of nurses, doctors, and specialists, and it was, by far, the hardest experience we've ever been through as a couple, and now a family. My only advice to anyone reading this is to trust your instincts ... we acted on a feeling but never in our wildest dreams did we ever think that he was capable of getting that sick! We were so protective of our boys. But it goes to show you that, despite your best efforts, shit happens! You learn to count your blessings, learn from the experience and move on.

Vogue or Sleep!

Jax and Jaz had their first photo shoot today with Emma-Lee! She came to our home and set up a black backdrop in the basement to take photos of our precious boys! They were not very cooperative. And they both peed on me and on themselves!! Despite that, Emma-Lee was able to take some beautiful photos of them that we will cherish for a lifetime!

Beautiful Babies ... Proud Mama!

Our boys are almost one month old! Jackson is 5 pounds 2 ounces. Jameson is 5 pounds 12 ounces! I can't believe how fast time flies when you're having fun! And by fun, I mean the following: ringing ears, lack of sleep, fresh air, exercise, and endless poop, toots, and spitup. The life! But I'm happy to report that things are getting a little easier now that they're almost one month old! We've started a bedtime routine with Jackson and Jameson. We want them to feel comfortable in their room at night. We want them to know that sleeping is a good thing and that it's okay to sleep through the night (laugh). They enjoy story time with Daddy and being rocked to bed by Mummy! And I must say, they are quite cute right before bedtime! We are so lucky to have such beautiful babies.

Starting Young ...

I was wondering how long it would take for Wesley to get the boys into video games, but I never thought he'd start them this young!! Looks like Jameson is hooked! Oy veh! Don't be fooled people! Wesley plays his PSP all the time despite being a busy daddy!

Parenthood Rocks!

I don't know if I can give you an explanation for this but here goes. One day, Wesley decided to get Jackson ready for the dayand this is what he did. This is why Dad's should NOT dress their kids! I don't think Jackson was too pleased!

Wesley, for the record, babies are not toys! I know you're eager to play with them but they're only one month old! I'm sure Jackson wasn't terribly happy with this look! Just remember, what goes around comes around! This may come back to haunt you one day! :)

Brotherly Love!

Jameson is so protective of Jackson who loves to cuddle with his brother! This is a match made in heaven. Or was the match made in my belly?? I'll let you ponder this one ...

Daddy loves Babies, Babies love Daddy!

The boys love sleeping on their daddy! Now if only their Daddy can get some sleep too! Wesley looks mighty tired in this photo but he's been a trooper, waking up at night with me to tend to our boys. We may be tired but it's worth it!

I need my space!

Looks like the boys are getting a little sick of each other already!! We literally left them for five minutes to snooze and came back to this! I know what you must be thinking but there is an explanation for this. This is how they were positioned inside of my belly for the last 10 weeks (except they were both head down). Interesting eh!

Our boys had a busy day today with their cousins Johnny, Jack, and Gavin! We put them both boys in their toddler rocker today and couldn't resist taking a photo of all the cousins together!
