Howdy Partnah!

Yee Haw! Drool away boys ... drool away! These new bandana inspired bibs should do the trick! These bibs came from Vancouver and they rock! They don't ruin their outfits although it appears that Jameson would much rather be naked with only his bib on! ;)

Watch out Naked Cowboy! Here's your competition!
What a sad cowboy!

Valentines Love

The boys surprised me with a trip to the spa for Valentines Day! How sweet! I got a spa manicure and pedicure done, which was great, because I got pampered for about three hours! Ahh .. it was heavenly and so relaxing! I came home looking and feeling rejuvenated. But I missed my boys a lot and was so happy to see them once I got home! I am a truly blessed twin mama! :)

Doncha wanna just pinch those cheeks? Umm theirs not mine! :)

Any Laundry?

Jackson and Jameson occupy most of my day. So household chores like laundry get tossed to the side. I friggin hate laundry. And I hate cleaning. This picture just stresses me out. This is a month's worth of sheets and towels, which was done in 3-4 loads. Please don't hate on me. Yikes!! Anyway, I thought ... why not have some fun with it! Jameson seemed to enjoy it :)

Boys Will Be Boys ...

The boys are so lucky to have a father like Wesley in their lives.

And the bond they share as brothers is priceless!

Blast From The Past

"And I ran. I ran so far away. And I ran. I ran to get away. Couldn't get away" (Flock of Seagulls) ... more like, "Couldn't get away from Daddy styling my hair after my bath"!! Ughhh! Note to self, do not let Wesley style their hair!! Clearly, he's reliving the 80's through Jameson's hair (and he doesn't even drink Diet Pepsi)!

Look Who's Talkin Too

Thought this was the most adorable thing ever ... I normally don't advocate talking while you're in the middle of a good chew BUT this was a big exception to that rule! This is Jameson by the way having his first real babble back in January of this year.

Our Family. Our Dreams.

Jackson, Wesley, Jameson, and Robyn

The boys are 7.5 months already! I can't believe it. And I can't believe how many times I say that I can't believe how big they're getting. How fast they're growing. How much they're changing (tear). I look at their beautiful faces and life flashes before my eyes. I remember my childhood and those carefree years ...

I remember how much I yearned to be older. I used to sneak in my parent's closet. I used to wear this dress my mother had. It was white and fluffy. I'd take one of her bras and stuff it with oranges wishing one day for a nice big shiny chest to call my own. Little did I know that I'd get my wish ... and it sucked! Thank God for plastic surgeons! I also used to wear my mum's heels and lipstick. I used to dream in the mirror. And now I look at my sons' and can't help but see the next 20 years flash before my eyes. I can see them graduate from high school. I can see their first crush, their first love. I can see how handsome they'll be on their wedding day.

We can teach our children to embrace their childhood, but nothing I say or do will make them realise how precious their little lives are. How important they are to me. To Wesley. They are without a doubt, our pride and joy, and I feel so lucky to know them. I feel honoured that they look at me and call me mum. OK, they may not necessarily say "mum" yet. It's more like "maaauummmmm", followed by "ba ba da da ga ga" but I'll take it anyday!

Here's to parenthood and all the wonderful things that lie ahead for our lives together as a family! The journey has just begun! :)

Jameson

Check out how amazing our new Pentax K200D is! Our old camera could never capture the details as shown here in Jameson's face!

Sit Today. Crawl Tomorrow.

Our boys are sitting up on their own now! And they had so much fun interacting with one another while we tested out our new Pentax K200D. They are also trying very hard to crawl. They love being on their tummies. They arch their bums in the air. They roll. They get on their knees. It's so cute to watch! Jackson is especially funny to watch. He gets into a "push up" position but ends up pushing himself backwards! It's only a matter of time now! Where did my little babies go?

Super Bad!

Their hair is so long right now. This is about all I can do with it for now until they get their hair cut (tear). One thing is clear, Jameson can rock the 'hawk!

We Rock and We Know It!

OK, you have to admit, our boys are so rock n roll ... and they love spending time together! If they're not clawing each other's eyes out, they are the best of friends! And check it out, they're starting to look more and more alike .... hmmm!!! Doncha just love their onesies and baby legs! :)

The Look Of Love

Our Jameson ... how can anyone resist this handsome face? You can't see here, but we found the first sign of a tooth that's starting to cut through! YEAH! :)

Play With Me!

The boys were treated to a special visit from their cousin Gavin today! They played with their rings and jungle adventure activity centre, and took turns riding the pony! Oh, the life of a baby!

Rings Are Hilarious!

Seriously, rings are hilarious! Who knew! Just watch how Jameson reacts to Jackson when he plays with his rings! It's moments like these that makes raising twins so worthwhile!

"Ha Ha Ha ... Eehh Eehh Eehh"

Precious Moments ...

Don't you just love special moments caught on film? Here are two of them that I just had to share!

Jax fell asleep on my shoulder after his evening bottle

Jameson was so content sitting with Daddy

Giddy Up!

The boys received their first pony from Uncle Bogez and Aunt Santina for Christmas! And we think they like it! Just kidding, they love it! And so do we! :)

Yee-haw, Texas here I come!

Yippee!!!

Kiss Me!

Yup ... they even like peas!

Feed Me!

Our boys have been great eaters since the day they were born! Always hungry! And it seems, despite our best efforts, that we can never feed them enough! Our doctors said that most babies will tell you when they're full. Our boys are the exception to that rule. We could probably give them 20 oz of formula in one sitting! Don't worry, we don't do that! Right now, we have been cutting them off at 6 oz since they're also getting solids twice a day! It seems to be working but on some days, 6 oz is just not enough! Here's what happens when it's not enough ...

There's still more in there! Don't take it away!

If I cry, maybe she'll feed me more!
Ha! I always get my way! :)

Tales of Silent Poops!

We're having fun trying out new foods with Jax and Jaz and we're quickly learning that certain types of food create interesting results in the poop department. Last week, we gave the boys prunes and pears for breakfast with their cereal because they were a little constipated. Well that combination resulted in Jameson having a poop that went up to his shoulders! It was so bad that we had to cut his brand new onesie off of him. And into the bath he went! We laughed. He cried. Oh the joys of solid food!

Tonight, we discovered another lethal combination in the poop department! The culprit ... peas! When the boys are having a poop, they strain, make noises, and get red in the face. It's pretty cute! But tonight, after their last feed, Jameson shocked us with a silent but deadly poop! The boys were clean and ready for bed ... everything was going smoothly! But when Wes went to pick up Jameson to bring him upstairs for the night, his hand was covered in runny poop! His diaper was filled and there was poop up his back, yet again! We laughed. He cried. And I had to give him a SECOND bath for the night! Oh, and he ruined a brand new sleeper! Two baths in one hour = one tired mama! Here's a photo of Jameson eating his favourite solid food!

Pruneface!

Best Buds for Life!

Thomas came over for a play date today! He was so cute! Just watch how excited he was to see Jax. Or was it his chair? Hmm ....

The Next Picasso?

Here's how this went down (laugh) ...

Robyn: Wes, I wouldn't leave Jackson's bowl on his tray.
Wesley: Not to worry, I have his hands pinned down.
Robyn: But he's going to make a mess, trust me.
Wesley: Trust me, he's fine. He can't reach it.
Robyn: But he'll still try to get his hands out ...
Wesley: It's okay Robyn, I'll be a second.
Robyn: If you say so ...

I turned my back to put Jameson's bowl in the microwave and when I turned back around, this is how I found Jackson! What a mess! So, the moral of the story is ... don't trust a baby to behave when their food is staring at them in the face! In all fairness to Jackson, this totally wasn't fair. He's my hungry hippo! You just cannot put any type of food, especially fruit, in front of a hungry baby and assume that they'll stay put and behave!

Bath Time With The Boys!

The boys just love having a bath. They love splashing in the water and getting Mummy all wet. They also love getting shampoo mohawks. Fun!

Sweet ...

Sweet potatoes that is! And the boys love it! Here are a few cute pics from their first experience eating sweet potatoes! Yum!

Mmmmm!

Do you ♥ my sweet potato soul patch? ;)
