Kids at Heart!

Vanessa taking a 5 minute break to play with the kiddies

Halloween is quickly approaching and we wanted to make sure that we enjoyed every moment of it. So, Vanessa and I decided to hang out with the kiddies one night and carve pumpkins. I'm not just a yummy mummy you know! I have mad skillz!

My finished pumpkin!

Anyway, I forgot how time consuming it is to carve out a pumpkin, but it was well worth the effort! Not that Vanessa and I were competing for the title of Best Pumpkin Carver Extraordinaire but I totally won this battle and she'll completely admit it! Vanessa carved a castle and I carved four ghosts singing entitled "Rhythm and Boos". Get it! :)

Yes, I know, it rocks!

Tummy Time is Tiring!

We put the boys on their tummies every day to strengthen their necks, arms, and back. They don't always like being on their tummies, so we put Baby Einstein on for them as an incentive to look up and maintain their hold. Trust me, it works most of the time!

Am I tired or am I bored? You decide!

Boys Being Boys

You know that saying, a picture is worth a thousand words? Well, I was having one of those nights with the boys. Instead of going into a long winded explanation about what happened, I thought I'd post a few photos! Enjoy! :)

Jameson isn't pleased that I'm grabbing his leg but I don't care!

It looks so tasty! I just wanna bite it a bit ... just a little bit ...

Aww Ma! I was just getting started! Hmmph! You're getting my super pout!

Why Daddy Why?

We think it's totally awesome that both boys can fit inside Daddy's guitar case. Jackson, on the other hand, doesn't agree so much ... we tried to take their four month photos today, and well, it looks like we'll have to try again later!

"Get me outta here!!!"

Apple Picking Rocks!

Wee! We love wagon rides!

The Russells and The Fourniers have started an annual tradition - to go apple picking! We went to Chudleighs Apple Farm in Milton on a beautiful October day. The sun was shining and the air was crisp. So were the apples! And holy cow, I've never seen apples so big!

Picking Mutsu Apples

There was so much to do at Chudleigh's once we were mobile. At first, we thought it would be wise to put all the kiddies in their strollers, only to find out that they wouldn't let us go on the wagon ride to pick apples (and we didn't want to leave our fancy strollers parked at the stroller depot), so we went back to our cars, repacked our belongings, and put all the kiddies in slings.

What do we all have in common? That's right, we're all wearing blue jeans! ;)

I actually thought people went to Chudleighs to pick apples but I was so wrong! There are farm animals and wagon rides. Lots to see and do! But the main event for us was getting to pick the biggest mutsu apples we've ever seen! It was a fun day and we can't wait to do it again next year!

There's more apple than tree in this photo!

It was a fun day for the Fournier's and Russell's! We got lots of apples to make apple crisp, apple dip, and apple cider! Yum! Can't wait to do it again next year minus the baby slings and strollers!

Two mama's and a baby!

A Lovely Fall Day

My good friend Jess and I took a walk in the park through Headen Forest and enjoyed a beautiful fall day with our kiddies. The colours were gorgeous! I'm going to miss these days once winter arrives ....

Dr. Jackson and Jameson Reporting for Duty!

Looks like we may have two future doctor's in our household! They may charge a hefty fee for their services but smiles are always free!

Twins Holding Twins

I couldn't resist ... I just love this photo of Vanessa and I with Jackson and Jameson! And for those who are curious, Vanessa and I did not plan to dress alike for this photo!
I love how Jameson always has to have his hand on Jackson. This is brotherly love at its finest!

Their Nursery

Some people have asked what Jackson and Jameson's cribs look like .. well here they are! This is one shot of the room.
