Snuggle Time With Daddy

Daddy was off for two weeks during the Christmas holiday and he used his time well. He snuggled with his boys .... is that so wrong? Absolutely not! In fact, it's kinda cute!! Wesley won't be able to do this for very long so he thought it was best to take advantage now while he still can!

The Godfather

A couple days ago, the boys got to spend some quality time with their Godfather Mark. He had his hands full! Literally!

It's Christmas!

We had our very First Christmas with the boys this year! We had a blast! Jackson woke up super excited and ready to go! Jameson, on the other hand, was fast asleep! In fact, nothing would get him going, except his early morning bottle! Once they were fed, we took them downstairs to see what Santa brought for them for Christmas! Their eyes were alive! They couldn't wait to get their wee hands all over those beautifully wrapped gifts! They wore the paper off and went to town! It was so cute!

Christmas Morning at Home

Waking up with laryngitis ... not so cute! But I somehow managed to channel my inner LC (Lauren Conrad that is) and took advantage of my newfound raspy voice. The boys were spoiled rotten by both of their everyone, especially their Grandparents and their Aunts and Uncles! The boys even received an extra special visit from a certain Mr. Santa Claus on his day off! How lucky is that!

All the kiddies with Santa Claus!

Here are two photos of the boys with their favourite Grandparents! Notice something about these photos? Both their hands are in their mouths in both these shots! Oy!

And last but not least, I had to post a photo of yours truly! I hope everyone had a very Merry Christmas! We sure did!

Twas The Night Before Christmas ...

Who put my socks on over my pants? Not cool!

... when all through the house. Not a creature was stirring ... except for Jackson and Jameson who wanted to sit on the kitchen counter and look cute! This was taken right before we gave them a bath. As you can see, their hair is getting super long and difficult to manage. In fact, it's starting to curl! But that only happens when they get super hot after a good snuggle with Mummy or Daddy!

Cousins Forever

It's nice to see that Jackson and Jameson will always have their cousins to grow up and old with! I can just see it now and it spells trouble! :)

It's Your "Baptisme" Day!

Getting baptised ... what a good looking family! ;)

The boys got baptised yesterday! Hooray! And it was a great day! Now ... is it so wrong that one of the highlights for me was their baptismal cake? It was seriously amazing! Not only did it look absolutely incredible, it tasted like heaven! I was so happy with the way it turned out! Some of you may know that I am taking a class in cake decorating. In fact, some of you have been treated to my delectable treats but I cannot take credit for baking or decorating this cake. I was just way too busy with other more pressing matters (chuckle). But the gal I hired to create this cake used my ideas and just blew us all away. If you're looking at this cake with large amounts of drool hanging down your chin, you should know that it was a blueberry sponge cake with blueberry cheesecake flavoured buttercream. All the decorations, including the sugar babies (molded in the likes of Jax and Jaz) were also edible and oh-so-yummy. Did I eat the sugar babies? Seriously, how could you even ask me a question like that! I couldn't eat them ... I just couldn't! So, we stored them in a safe place for the boys to see when they're older!

Yum-O!!!

Oh right ... I almost forgot to write about their baptism (laugh). The ceremony was beautiful! We were so worried about them spitting up and ruining their outfits during the ceremony, but they didn't spit up once! Thank goodness for that! And they didn't cry once ... in fact, Jackson slept in my arms for most of the ceremony haha! Anyway, they looked so handsome in their little satin suits and hats! But if I had to pick what I loved the most, it would have to be the leather shoes they wore that said "My Baptisme Day" on the side LOL! I think they were from Portugal. Too funny!

They were lovingly fighting each other when this shot was taken

We are so happy to welcome Auntie Nessa and Uncle Mark into our family! As Godparents, we know that they will guide our boys in the way of the Lord. They'll also be highly influenced by Mark's musical abilities and Vanessa's style sense! We're looking forward to starting many family traditions with the Joseph and Lovery-Pham Family!

The Aftermath

Check out the rice cereal spitup on Raffi the Giraffi

And this is what happened after we fed Jameson rice cereal ... who knew he'd start sleeping on his tummy! zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz!

A Whole New World ...

... of food that is! The boys started eating solid foods today! They're almost 6 months old, so it's time (sniff). Actually, they've been ready for a while. They watch us intently when we eat. They grab for any sort of utensil we have in our hands (or mouth). They're also losing interest in their bottle, all tell tales signs that it's time to step it up a notch. So, we're trying out organic rice cereal with them this week. And we're hoping that it'll keep their spitup issue under control, especially for their Baptism next week. Anyway, both Jackson and Jameson loved eating rice cereal. They grabbed for the spoon and had a blast! And it's only just begun!

Here's Jameson enjoying his first taste of heaven in an orange bowl.
Gimme Gimme Gimme!

Oh boy, this is good stuff!

Please sir ... can I have some more?

And onto Jackson who equally enjoyed his first experience with solids!

I don't know about this stuff Daddy ...

Fooled you, this stuff rocks!

Mmmmm! I could get used to all this extra food!
